Paul Allen Phillips, 77, of Southaven, MS., passed away December 7, 2014. There will be a gathering of friends on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 beginning at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and the service will follow on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10 a.m. all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Interment will take place at Jonesboro Memorial Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Paul was the president of UPIU for 49 years, he was a member of the Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Mollie and John Phillips; son, David Phillips and brother, Bob Phillips. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, JoAnn Thompson Phillips; 2 daughters, Susan Phillips Murphy (Thomas) and Kristie Phillips Garner (Keith); son, Mark Allen Phillips (Cindy); brother, Johnny Prentice; sister, Louise Carlson he also leaves 8 grandchildren who will all miss him very much.
