Peggy was a devoted wife and loving mom who took great pride in caring for her family and making a house feel like home. She was a gifted seamstress who could make just about anything her heart set on, from cozy quilts to the sweetest little handmade figures. If it could be stitched or crafted, Peggy could do it, and she did it with love.
She also had a true green thumb and found so much joy out in her garden, tending to her flowers. Her African violets were her pride and joy, and she had a special way of making them bloom bright and beautiful.
Peggy will be remembered for her kind heart, her creative spirit, and the love she poured into everything she did. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Peggy leaves behind her husband, Willie Joe Stovall; her daughter, Wendy Kant, and son-in-law, Aaron Kent, and her granddaughter, Erin McKenzie Kant.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Epilepsy Foundation West Tennessee.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Corinth National Cemetery, 1551 Horton St. Corinth, MS 38834.
