Roy Lee Golden, 70, of Coldwater, MS. Passed away on June 18, 2015. There will be a gathering of friends on Sunday, June 21, 2015 beginning at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with service to follow on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. Interment will take place at Cockrum Cemetery in Cockrum, MS. Roy was mason and member of the Majestic Shrine since 1977 as well as a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ovene Golden and his brother, Charles Wayne Golden. Roy is survived by his wife of 50 years Sylvia Golden; 2 daughters, Donna Taylor (Brian) and Anita Simmons (Jimmy); son, Rickey Golden; brother, Keith Golden; sister, Mildred Pryor (Donald) and 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Bo, Kaitlyn, Gracie and Lil Rick.
