Rufus L. Brown, Sr., 91, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Memphis VA Medical Center. He was a veteran of the World War II and Korean War. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Margaret L. Brown; two sons, Perry L. Brown and Rufus L. Brown, Jr; four brothers and five sisters. He is survived by a daughter, Priscilla Brown (Allen Robbins); a stepdaughter, Dianna Smith, and one grandchild, Justin Roberson (Amanda). Family will receive guests Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum St. Olive Branch, MS 38654. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:00 am at Brantley Funeral Home. Interment will be at Autumn Woods Cemetery.
