

Thomas Clark “Tom” McRae, 68, a resident of Byhalia, Mississippi died on October 24, 2014. A retired business manager from Stein Mart, Tom was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. A man who loved God and his family; Tom’s earthly pleasures were derived from his animals, fishing, camping, raising miniature horses and volunteering to building the stage sets for the Olive Branch High School Drama Department. The family will meet guests to share memories and refreshments on Monday, October 27 from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 28 beginning at 10 a.m. all at the Brantley Funeral Home located at 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS. Bro. Oscar Geeslin will be conducting the funeral service. Mr. McRae was preceded in death by his father Clayton McRae, and his sister Sherry. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Carol McRae; daughter Angela (Ben) Murdy of Olive Branch; son Clay (Marcy) McRae of Tupelo, MS; his 97 year old mother Lorene McRae of Wynn, AR; and four grandchildren Eliot, Rose, Kerston, and Abrielle.
