There will be a gathering of friends Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m. all at the Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch, MS. The interment will take place at Memorial Park Southwoods Cemetery in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Doris Tompkins. Thomas is survived by his children, Sharon Davis, Dwain Tompkins (Tammy) and Tracy Tompkins; 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Tompkins (Nikki), Jamie Alberson (Bob), Thomas Davis (Summar), Tonda Davis (Roy) and 8 great-grandchildren.
