Byhalia - Troy W. Erwin, 91, of Byhalia, MS, went to live with the Lord on December 11, 2010. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, December 13, and funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Byhalia Cemetery. Troy was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as a tank driver during World War II. He was a longtime member of Watson Community Church, and he retired at the age of 83 as a self employed home builder. He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Imogene Erwin; his son, Kenneth W. Erwin of Byhalia; two grandchildren, Tiffany Moller of New York, NY and Todd Erwin of Charlotte, NC; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
