Vernon E. Kreider, Jr went home to heaven peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, April 19, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Kreider, son, Timothy E. Kreider, and brother, Paul Kreider. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Kreider-Crafton, son-in law Dolph Crafton, brothers Earl and Mark Kreider, sister- in law Linda Kreider, granddaughter Ashley Crafton, great grandson Dexter Crafton, great granddaughter Elwyn Crafton, nephews Matt and Evan Kreider, niece Lindsi Crenshaw, adopted daughter Amanda Baker Green, plus lots of family and friends. He was an avid duck hunter and University of Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He loved spending time with his family watching football, working in his garden, or sitting in a duck blind watching ducks land and take off. He always had a funny story to tell, advise to give, or a shoulder to lean on. He was a member of LaBelle Haven Baptist Church and a life sponsor of Ducks Unlimited. His celebration of life will be Saturday, April 25, 2026 at 2pm at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the general scholarship fund at the University of Alabama.
