Walter Mac Turner, of Covington, TN, passed away January 21, 2011. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, and funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 23, all at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Interment will follow in Byhalia Cemetery. Mac is survived by his wife, Darla R. Turner; his sons, Matt (Barbara) Turner, Michael (Katherine) Turner, Mark Turner, Mitch (Robyn) Turner, all of Byhalia, and Max Turner of Covington; seven grandchildren; and his brother, Bob (Vivian) Turner of Byhalia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garvin and Annie Turner; his sister, Johnnie Treese; and his brother, Charles Turner.
