Wayne Roberson

Wayne Roberson, 88, of Coldwater, MS went to be with the Lord on October 10, 2023. Wayne was born on August 5, 1935 in Independence, MS to the late John Thomas and Annie Lou Roberson. He is survived by his children: Gaither Marie Warren (John), Barry Wayne Roberson, Angela Faye Rose, Mildred Rebecca Newton, Annie Lou Roberson, John Thomas “Tommy” Roberson (Ronda), Jessie Rogers “Rudy” Roberson (Loretta Hall), and Brian Keith Roberson; 30 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Wayne was a farmer most of his life. He had a green thumb and enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation at Brantley Funeral Home on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 5-7 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 16, 2023, also at Brantley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
