The Leitch Family is devastated to announce that William “BJ” James Leitch Jr. 33, of Southaven, has passed away from a massive heart attack, and has gone to join our Heavenly Father. He was a graduate of Southaven High School in 2000 and of Northwest Community College. He was a master mechanic with Magnolia Tire and Mathis Goodyear. It’s hard to say enough about a man with such a beautiful heart and soul, especially one like BJ. He was such a strong and loving man and had survived many hardships in his life. He was greatly loved and survived by his wife, Ashley Musick Leitch, his three step-children, Hannah, Laiken and Jacob Lillo, his parents, William “Bill” Leitch and Shari Leitch, his sister Amanda Leitch, his grandmother Loretta Johndrow, and countless family and friends. He was met at his Heavenly home by his grandparents, Arthur and Irene Leitch and Lee Johndrow. BJ was the kind of man who never raised his voice, who’d always be there for you and do anything he could to help. The world will never be the same without him and there will always be a piece of our hearts missing. We love you BJ, and know that we were blessed to have you in our lives. We will cherish every moment, every laugh, and every day we had with you. Although there is never enough time with the ones we love, we know that you and your beautiful smile will never leave us. You will never be far from our hearts and minds until we are together again. So we will not say goodbye, but we love you and we will see you again later.
There is going to be a gathering of his family and friends on Saturday August 22, 2015 from 11:00 am–2:00 pm with a Memorial Service on Sunday August 23, 2015 at 2:00pm all at Brantley Funeral Home, 6875 Cockrum Street, Olive Branch, MS. Condolences can be made online at www.brantleyfuneral.com.
