Billy departed this life on September 19, 2022.
Billy was raised in the Capleville community where he attended school, and he graduated from Whitehaven In 1957.
Billy was married to Peggy Davis Hall in 1959 and celebrated 61 years of marriage shortly before her death in 2020.
Billy and Peggy were charter members of Summerwood now Gracewood Baptist Church where Billy was a deacon. Health issues had prohibited him from being active these last years.
Billy worked for Armour and King Cotton Foods prior to those packing plants closings in Memphis . In later years the work he enjoyed the most and retired from was HASCATS, Inc. a safety company developed by Ronnie Fulcher out of Canton, Ms.
Billy is survived by one son, William Kenneth (Ken) Hall of Olive Branch, MS, two sisters, Ruth Ann Hall Short of Ironton, Mo and Jennie Lou Hall Smith husband Mark of Payson, Az. And a host of Arizona nieces and nephews. He also is survived by sister-in-law Marty McCall Hall of Jackson, TN, niece, Robin Hall Crowe husband Shane of Jackson, TN and Delane Hall of Celine,Texas and her children.
Other surviving family include brother-in-law W.E. ‘Sluggo’ Davis wife Wanda of Hernando, Ms and their son Doug Davis of Madison, MS, sister-in-law Elaine Davis Shinault husband Sid of Olive Branch, MS.
Preceded in death was his wife Peggy, parents Norris and Maxine Hall, brother
Bobby Hall and nephew Richard Hall.
Services will be Saturday, September 24th.
Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at Brantley funeral home 6875 Cockrum Rd (Hwy 305) with the memorial service at 2 pm. There will be a celebration of life reception at Culpepper Place Assisted Living , 7250 Pleasant Hill Road, following the service at Brantley. Everyone is invited to attend.
