Hewitt, Albert "Travis" (1923-2012)- Surrounded by his loved ones, Albert passed away peacefully on Monday, April 23, 2012 at McKinney Place. Predeceased by wife May (1988). Lovingly remembered by son, Raymond (Shari) Hewitt and daughter, Laura Venables; grandchildren, Kelly (Brad), Summerland; Leanne, Summerland; Bobbi, Oliver; Diana (Laurent), Austria; Wayne (Barb), Oliver ; great-grandchildren, Riley, Alysha, Ashleigh, Laura-lynn, Blayne and Walker. Very special friend, Lora Shaw, Osoyoos; predeceased by son, Paul and granddaughter, Dana. Albert was an Orchardist in the South Okanagan and owned his own Trout Farm. He enjoyed camping, fishing, square and round dancing and was a member of St. Edward’s Anglican Church. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, 1 o'clock in the Chapel of Graham Funeral Home. Rev. Ray Turner with officiate with the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 97 Honour Guard in attendance. A private family Interment at the Oliver Cemetery will follow.
