George Clayton Bailey

Clayton “George” Bailey (1936 ~ 2014) - George Bailey passed away peacefully with his family at his side at Mariposa Gardens on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at the age of 78. Lovingly remembered by Connie, his partner of 26 years; Step-daughter, Janis (William Coke), step-sons, Dave Franklin (Edna), Bob Franklin and Dale Franklin (Tracy); 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Survived by sister, Jebby (Horst Franz) of Penticton and Lyn Godin of Calgary. Predeceased by grandsons, Eric Coke, Chad Gozzla and granddaughter Daylene Franklin. George worked for many years at Prudential Pipeline as a pipe fitter and was an artist and enjoyed reading. A private family service will be held with interment taking place in Port Hope Cemetery in Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to Blaine Krist at Graham Funeral Home, 5920 Kootenay Street, Oliver, B.C.
