Adam J. Fitzgerald of Lincoln, Nebraska, 48, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Bryan West Medical Center after suffering a heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Angelica Fitzgerald; his daughter, Leanna (13); his son, John (9); his father, John Fitzgerald; and his siblings, Sean Fitzgerald, Nicholas Fitzgerald, and Abigail (Jordan) Vollers; nephews, Jordy and Noah; godchildren, Steven, Conner, Jacob, Daniel, Harrison, Samuel, Bryce, Raeya, Dante, and Cecilia. He is preceded in death by his mother, Carol Fitzgerald.
Adam was a dedicated father, a loving husband, a doting son, and an affectionate sibling. His love was a constant rock to his family that brought them all immense comfort and joy. His passing is an immeasurable loss to so many.
Adam was passionate about his community and the children of the world. He volunteered with his wife through the Tenant Assistance Project and was a longtime sponsor of a child through Compassion International. He was a lifelong learner, and enjoyed reading about science, engineering, and space. Adam was a gentle giant that touched everyone he met with genuine kindness.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 8, at 11 a.m., with Interment to follow at Westlawn-Hillcrest in Omaha.
