Agnes Hall

She was born in Clarkson, NE the daughter of John and Emma Petr. She graduated from high school in 1936 at the age of 16 and received her Elementary School Certificate from the state of Nebraska to teach at age 17. She did this for several years in a rural one room school house. In 1943 she received her Jr. Elementary Certificate from Midland College in Omaha. Later she received her Masters of Science Degree from the University of Omaha. She taught in various schools her entire life ending up teaching art in the Omaha schools until her retirement. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society and affiliated with Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha. She was married to Don Hall in 1981.

She is survived by her niece, Kay (Bob) Eilers; 2 great nephews, Steven (Tammy) Sutterman, all of Monticello, IA, Jeffrey (Beth) Sutterman, Frederick MD; several great great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by 2 step sons, George Hall and Robert Hall and several step grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Don; her parents; 4 sisters, Elsie Chaloupka, Ethel Wilson, Eleanor Joy, Betty Littrell; brother, Leon Petr.

FUNERAL SERVICE 2pm Wednesday, Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home with VISITATION before the Service.

Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Omaha.
