 Happy trails to you, Bruce. I'll sadly miss our sarcastic phone convrsations. You were a really wonderful guy to your family and everyone you came in contact with. Until we meet again. Becky

We are so sorry to hear about your dad. I will never forget you guys on your bikes at the Wyoming reunion....what fun memories to cherish. I know my mom thought of him more as a brother than a cousin and she will miss him terribly. Please know that you are in our thoughts.

I am so sorry for your loss he was a great friend for many years,I will miss him, I just came to his house 3 weeks to go to the breakfast for retires. I pray for the family.

We haven't seen each other in years and years. We were good buddies in grade school and then high school. Many weekends hanging out, riding around in Jim's Modal T (or was it an A), drinking an "occasional" beer together, playing poker. 
Bruce was a true friend and I remember him fondly and think of him often. I will continue to do so.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I know he will be sorely missed.

I'll bet my next cup of coffee that God handed Bruce free tickets to every Ducks Unlimited Dinner across the world.  I'll miss you stopping by after your weekly breakfasts with the boys, talking and laughing and doing our best grumbling about all things unimportant.  Watch over your family and friends 'cause they really need you spirit in their lives right now.

Nancy and Family-Sorry to hear about Bruce's passing.  I remember all the visits my dad and Bruce would have across the fence during the summers on 130th Street. Bruce and I were good friends at western electric for many years. I'll never forget his smiling face jovial personality.We shared many hours laughing and talking together. Rest in peace. Barry O'Donnell

There is no one who has more great memories of things done together then Bruce and I. At least a million duck and goose stories and that many fishing stories but the one I have had going through my mind since you called has nothing to do with our hunting or fishing trips.  Going back in your mind I am sure you will remember he and I building the garage. I keep going over the same thought.  He purchased three 2'x12' 22 feet long for the header over the doors of the garage. Rather then put them up one at a time we were going to save time and so we nailed and bolted the three boards together and were going to just lift them up and place them where we wanted them. we put a rope around each end and went up the six foot step ladder and was going to pull them up one end at a time. My end was to go up first after pulling as hard as I could I got it up maybe 2 feet. So being smart we gave up that idea and Bruce came down to my end and we lifted it up to set on top of my ladder then we went to Bruce's end to put it up on his ladder and we never made it on the first try because my end knocked my ladder over so the board was on the ground. Again we used our expertise and got regular ladders and had the holders for holding planks and tried again.  We got one end up on the holder and raised the other end high enough to put a 4x4 post to hold it so we could get under it to raise it up using our legs.It took us all morning to get that header in place. If you go out and look at it you will see the sledge hammer marks we made to get it in place.  Bruce and I laughed so hard every day after that about putting up that header. I really thought that both of us were going to break our backs doing it.Its unbearable when you lose your best friend, I know there is noway we can feel the lost as you do but please know that if there is anything we can do please let us know.

I never knew how bad a heart could ache until I had to say good-bye, nor did I realize how complete my life was, until you left. There is a piece of my heart missing that can only filled with a dad's love.
