I am sorry to hear about Bob's passing.  I lived in Omaha in 1981, and saw Bob at all the races, such as Fort Calhoun and the Council Bluffs Fairgrounds.  In the short time I was in Omaha, I developed many fond memories of how extremely nice Bob was, not to mention how incredibly talented he was on a motorcycle.  I have a trophy I won at a race at the Decatur County Speedway in Iowa, and the trophy contains a racing picture of a different race, and it has Bob leading the pack.  

You will be missed, Bob.

P s  Don and Bev Ramer were super nice- They were good neighbors as we tried to  be there for them as well. (See my eariler post)  I was blessed to grow up with my best friend --Cherie and her fun brother-----Bobby!

I lived next door to the Ramers and Cherie and I are stil close friends. Bobby and i used to play together too , like climbing trees

I grew up a few blocks from the Ramers and Bobby was a good friend to me throughout my childhood even though he was a few years older. Just the sweetest guy you'd ever know.  My sincere condolences for the Ramer family.

Oh Bobby...you was my buddy. I was at Nebraska Skilled Nursing this last summer & you did not remember me. I love you Bobby, you are where you wanted to be...in the arms of your sweet wife. R.I.P. my dear sweet friend.

Our deepest sympathy to Bob's children, he married our daughter Sandy June 30, 1990 and she died 9 months and 16 days later, they are in heaven together now.
