Ellen Elizabeth Shaw

Ellen was born in O’Neill, Nebraska to Clarence and Lois Donohoe. She was the oldest of ten children. She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her youngest sister, Erin Kelley (aka Anne Donohoe). She is survived by sisters, Kathleen (Stephen) Rosenberg, Mary (Dan) Straka, Jeanne (Joe) Hauser and brothers: Tom (Sharon) Donohoe, Owen (Charlene) Donohoe, Neil (Karen) Donohoe, Bill (Sandy) Donohoe and Pat Donohoe. Ellen was a woman of deep devotion to her faith and family. She was a loving mother to seven children: Julie (Terry) Holz, Mike Shaw, Shelley (Dave) Boyd, Tony (Michelle) Shaw, Stephanie (Gary) Cuddy, Heidi Shaw, and Andrea (Tim) Driscoll. Ellen was a proud grandmother to fifteen and a great-grandmother to 4.5 children. Services will take place on Wednesday, July 13th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2207 Wirt Street, Omaha, NE 68110. Visitation will take place from 9:00 am – 10:00 am with a funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will take place immediately following the funeral service at the Sacred Heart Parish. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial donations to Sacred Heart Church.
