Eric David Donelson, of Omaha, passed away peacefully on November 18th at Bergan Mercy Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his mother, Noreen Ward; brother, Paul Donelson; sisters, Amy Huelle and Susan Mong; and brother-in-law, Grant Mong.
Eric was known for his loving and gentle heart, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor. He was a master at Bingo, a loyal Nebraska football fan, and loved his family above all else.
He shared over 20 devoted years with his partner, Annie Faubel. Eric was a proud uncle to Colton Huelle and his wife, Eliza, of Boston; Taylor Huelle of Boston; Molly Mong of Overland Park, Kansas; Mallory Poling and her husband, Austin, of Overland Park, Kansas; and Dillon Mong of Overland Park, Kansas.
Preceding him in death were his father, Bruce Donelson; stepfather, Blaine Ward; and niece, Kaitline Donelson.
Eric will be deeply missed for his kindness, humor, and the joy he brought to all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held November 29, 2025, at 10:30 am at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home. The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend.
