Eric Allen Guse was born February 12, 1959 in Omaha NE to the late Gilbert and Kathleen (Perkins) Guse. Rick attended Omaha Public schools and graduated from Burke high school in 1977. Rick married Janet Bruck November 27, 1982. Rick was a banker for 40 years having worked all his years at U.S. Bank.
Rick was an avid Red Sox Fan and sportsman participating in baseball, softball, football, snow skiing,basketball, golf, and bowling. Rick also enjoyed coaching his sons in baseball and basketball.
Rick and Janet were enthusiast of Arksarben and really enjoyed years of fun at Horsemen‘s Park simulcasting. Many lifelong friends were made during all the sporting events.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Gil and Katie Guse. He is survived by his wife Janet, and sons Grant and Nick. Sisters, Karen White and Christine (Steve) Quandt. Nieces and nephews, Cloy Crawford, Katie White, and Andy White, Randy Quandt, Carrie Alvarez, Tim Quandt, and Lauren Sharif. Rick is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews in the Bruck family, cousins, and many friends.
Rick thoroughly enjoyed giving all his loved ones a hard time.
