Hazel (Yarbrough) Conner October 5, 1936 – May 22, 2014 Preceded in death by husband, Nathaniel Conner, Sr.; son, Nathaniel Conner, Jr.; parents, Burnett Yarbrough, Sr. and Hattie Vance; sisters, Helen McClendon, Barbara Morris and Mary Jacobs; brothers, Crawford Yarbrough, Burnett Yarbrough, Jr., George Henderson and Jimmy Vance and great grandson, Andre’ Conner, Jr. Survived by children, Bernard Conner, Eugene Conner, Laverne (John) Barnes, Renese Brown and Steven Conner; godson, Alejandro Ray Gaines; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary (Farley) Cole and Glenda (Eugene) Kelly; brothers, Donnie (Rosie) Vance, Billy Vance, Harold Vance, Caroll Vance, Ray Vance, Charles Yarbrough, Rev. Robert (Gwendolyn) Yarbrough and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICE Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11am with VISITATION one hour prior at St. Mark’s Baptist Church 3616 Spaulding St, Omaha with Pastor Adam L. Burton, officiating. Interment Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park.
