Homer Ray Hunt

Homer Ray Hunt, age 81, of Omaha, Nebraska was born on May 18, 1943 and passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

Homer graduated from Washington Grade School, class of 1958. He graduated from Central High School, class of 1962. He was part of R.O.T.C. After school Homer worked for E&A Consulting Group Inc. for 47 years, retiring in 2009.

Homer was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked as a project manager of the Marine Corps and was a member of the Marine Corps League. Homer received a medal as Marine of the year.

Preceded in death by parents, David Edward and Marie Hunt (Greenwell); sister, Joan Kizer; and parents-in-law, Jae Sun Ko and Yang Soon Jin.

Homer is survived by loving wife, Myung Sook Ko Hunt; Son, Michael Randy Miller; Daughter, Nancy Hunt Albert; son-in-law, Scott Albert; grandson, Aidan Albert; brother, David Hunt; brothers-in-law, Yoo Seok Ko (Jong Wheon Han), Cheon Seok Ko (Mi Ra Park), and Jeon Seok Ko (Young Ja Yi); and sisters-in-law, Jung Jin Ko and You Jeong Ko (Jeong Hyuck Lim).

A memorial service for Homer will be held Thursday, May 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Hope Presbyterian Church, 5220 South 159th Avenue, Omaha, NE 68135. Following the memorial service will be a graveside service with military honors at 1:30 PM at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, NE 68138.
