James S. Beutel September 25, 1950 – July 5, 2014 Lost his 5 year battle with cancer. Retired from UPRR. Former member of Omaha Public Schools Board of Education. Preceded in death by parents, William and Rita Beutel, Sandy Doyle, Kathy Herrley and Michaela. Survived by wife, Barb; daughters, Shelly (Leo) Welchert and Jill (Bob) Valdez; grandchildren, Bridget Massey, Daynatae Hayes, Chaz and Jazlynn Ferry, MaKayla , Summer, Gabby, RC, Molly and Pyper Valdez; great granddaughter, Teddi Valdez; brothers in-law, Mike Doyle and Pat Herrley; sisters, Linda (Randy) Roberts, Margie (Mike) VanVoltenberg, Amy (David) Jarrell; brothers, Carl (Terri), Bob (Julie) and Dan and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorials suggested to VNA or to the family. VISITATION Tuesday, July 8 from 5-8pm and FUNERAL SERVICE Wednesday, July 9 at 3pm with all services at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home.
