We are heartbroken to share that on July 13th, Jeff lost his courageous and unrelenting battle with Glioblastoma Multiforme Brain Tumor (GBM) and complications of pancreatitis at Methodist Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Kim; and daughters, Nichole and Danielle.
Jeff lived his life with passion in everything he did and everyone he loved. He lived his life thoughtfully, compassionately, and always with quick, witty one-liners that always had everyone laughing, no matter the situation. He was blessed with unique humor; at times even those closest to him were unsure whether he was joking or not. He probably was.
He was enthusiastic about the outdoors, whether hunting turkeys and deer or simply watching the sun rise and set.
Jeff lived with strong morals of loving one’s neighbor and treating everyone with true kindness, respect, and a sense of justice, setting an example for others. He always made time for people he loved, and he made sure he stocked his beer supply for Driveway Beers for anyone who dropped by.
Jeff was a member and instructor of Local 464 Steamfitters. Jeff was employed with Google for over 10 years as a Data Facilities Technician.
With a curiosity to know how everything worked, he spent hours in his well-equipped garage, and he had the talent to be able to build and repair anything.
However, Jeff’s most extraordinary talents were his ability to bring people together and make everyone feel like they mattered. He will be profoundly missed. As will his humor and exceptionally eccentric music playlists.
A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to the National Wild Turkey Federation or Brain Tumor Network.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.westlawnhillcrest.com for the Crouse family.
