I will always remember my Dad's since of humor.  He was always quick with a joke.    I will miss him greatly.  Love ya Dad.


I'd like to share two great memories. The first was when Uncle John took us kids for a ride in his 1967 Charger (a dealership demo) and as a young boy, letting me sit in the front seat of the coolest car ever with the coolest uncle ever.
My second memory comes from a dear friend, a  work associate from Toyota regional office, he comes to me one day for a visit and excitedly says "I know your uncle John" and continued to tell me what a great guy he was and thought the world of him.
Rest in peace Uncle John.

Nancy, Uncle John, and I would play cards when I would go to Omaha and stop in for a visit.  Uncle John was always ready with a quick joke or a limerick to get us laughing.  He would share stories about the family, and always made sure Nancy kept me well fed while I was there. :-)   I will miss Uncle John. 

Uncle John was my dads (Cecil) youngest brother. I remember him visiting in Iola in the 60s. condolences to all the family.

So sorry for your loss.   I would stop by on my trips North and visit Uncle John and Nancy.  He always welcomed me with open arms.  We would sit around the table and he would tell stories.  He would always ask if I was hungry as he was opening the fridge and pulling food out.  I'll miss you so much Uncle John
