Diane, I just now learned of Jon's passing. I am so very sorry for this terrible loss.

I met Jon in high school at Westside over 50 years ago. We hung out during our free time and became good friends. We lost touch for a while but reconnected later in life. My husband knew him in their younger years, too, so we picked up where we left off.  Jon and Diane became our closest friends. Jon’s  passing leaves a huge empty spot in our lives and in our hearts. We cherish our memories of him.  He will never be forgotten.

Grandma Di and Kelly,
I am so sorry for the loss of Jon!!  His granddaughters loved him so much and have many memories to talk about!!  They are heartbroken!!  They had so many great memories with him as do I!!  Rest in peace Jon your legacy will live on through Grandma Di, your son Kelly, and your 2 amazing granddaughters Kennedy and Maizey!!

Jon had just joined our golf course crew at Highland CC, in which he asked me to join his softball team. At one of the first games he introduced me to his cute girlfriend and ask me what I thought. I said if you let this one get away it would be a big mistake. He didn’t and Diane and him enjoyed a long marriage. Speaking for our golf course family, Jon was funny, genuine, and will be missed by all.

Everytime I would go visit Grandma and Grandpa John, we would always go to the grocery store and buy candy we weren't supposed to tell grandma about (sorry grandma) and I would always have to hide the candy or sweets I got
