June married Martin Zendejas in 1988. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading, crocheting, square dancing, and being a productive member of her church.
June was 92 years old when she passed away at the Hospice House in Omaha, NE on December 15, 2022.
She is survived by all 7 of her children, Allan (Holly) Cohoon, Dennis (Beverly) Cohoon, Denise (Jim) Link, Nancy Gay, Deborah (Mitchell) Whitman, Rita (Steve) Nelson, and Larry (Ida) Cohoon; her step-children; 14 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Zendejas; her parents; and 4 siblings, Zoe Rowe, Josephine Rowe, Jack Rowe, and Patsy McGonigal.
A visitation for June will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a celebration of life at 10:00 AM.
June will be laid to rest in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
