I found myself spending time recalling fond memories of my mother.  Her sister Josephine passed away on February 5th and my mom passed away on February 12th of 2019.
My mom made Christmas Eve very special. We went to midnight mass and she had sewn a special dress for the girls to wear.  After midnight mass we were hearing music .Mom and dad surprised us
with a phonograph record player. Mom loved Boots Randolph. 
Mom suffered when she passed away and I spent alot of time dwelling on that. There are so many wonderful memories of my mom and that's what I've been spending my time remembering.

Having a hard time today, knowing my mom is forever gone.  The many kind wishes from all her friends and family were much appreciated.  I will always fondly recall discussing life with her,  be it politics, sports, religion, community, or family.  Mom always had other folks on her mind, too.  We would often share prayer requests with each other.   If it weren't for her faith in GOD, and my own, I might certainly despair. But Luella had surely been welcomed into the place our Lord has prepared for her. And I know one day we'll meet again.  And the stories we can tell then.

When you all were just little kids,  I would visit with your Mom  with my kids.  We would have coffee and you all would play together.   Roy, Carmen and Connie.  I don't remember any more, who knew who among you kids, but I remember you all went to Willa Cather and  Jr. High together.  We belonged to Mary Our Queen since the beginning too.  I remember when Lou went to work at the Montclair Nursing Home.   We lived on Elm Circle.   Your folks were such good neighbors and we remember them with great affection.  We are sorry for your great loss.  God bless all of you.   Judi and Bob Hausman 

Louella was like a daughter to Pops and Marie, and your family was their family.  I remember Lou's laughter most, and I was in awe of her love and patience!  She taught me to make chocolate chip cookies and provided a temporary home for Pops and support for mom and dad when they had to make the difficult move to Omaha.  The memorial photos are wonderful.  Your family is in my thoughts.  Pat
