Throughout his life Lyle was a believer in Jesus. He was involved with The Navigators and The Gideons among other Christian groups. Lyle became a Pastor and went on short term mission trips to Africa, India, Russia, and the South Pacific sharing the word of God.
Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Leona; sons, Benaiah (Benna), Brandon, and Justin (Leah); grandchildren, Justice (Dakota), Cosmo (Hannah), and Remi; and many family and friends.
He will be truly missed.
A Visitation will be held at Christ Community Church, 404 S 108th St, Omaha, Nebraska 68154, on March 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location on March 25, 2026, at 11:00 am.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will take place at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Rd, Omaha, Nebraska 68138, on March 25, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
