She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Vira; brothers, Kenny and Jack Jr; niece, Vicki; and nephew, Bryan.
She is survived by her children, John (Monica) and Anthony (Sara); siblings Jackie, Bob (Joyce), Millie (Gary), Tom (Carrie), Charley, and Toni; grandchildren, John III, Corbin, Collin, Vira, and Lailah; many nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
Mari enjoyed collecting things better known as her stuff and you never know what she was going to pull out when you went to visit, from the tiniest clothes pin you’ve ever seen to a baggie of pretzels or chocolate covered peanuts she carried in her purse.
She was a spitfire who had a witty comeback to anything thrown her way and didn’t take anyone’s “crap”.
She loved her grandchildren dearly and really loved sleeping over at Christmas time to play games, watch movies, and tell everyone how to make the potatoes the “right” way (not too lumpy).
She loved all kinds of music, especially Motown and sang along in the car often.
She will be missed and her memory will live on through her sons, grandchildren, family, and friends.
THE BROKEN CHAIN
We didn’t know that morning God was going to call your name..... In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories, Your love is still out guide, And though we cannot see you, You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken, And nothing seems the same... But as God calls us one by one, The chain will link again.

Rest easy dear Mari, until we meet again. “ K, bye bye.”
