
Megan Davis-Rotert died April 7, 2026, at the age of 45. She was born August 2, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan to parents, Andrew Davis I and Catherine (Murphy) Doman. Megan was a hard-working and beloved woman who will be remembered with lasting affection by all who knew her. She was a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska.
Megan was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine Doman; and great-great-grandmother, Elizabeth Douglas.
Those left to cherish Megan’s memory include her husband, Adam Rotert; her daughters, Cassie Bernal, Alana Davis, Nevaeh Davis, and Issabella Hellgoth; father, Andrew Davis I; siblings, Andrew Davis II, Aaron Davis, Justin Davis, and Kathleen Tanang; beloved dogs, Marty and Junior; nieces and nephews; and many other loving family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, on April 13, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
Family was Megan’s main priority. She was fun and fearless, never backing down from trying new things, and she carried that spirit into every season of her life.
Megan was a lover of animals and had deep affection for her dogs, Marty and Junior. She owned and cared for many pets throughout her life, and at one point, she and her husband, Adam, owned over 17 guinea pigs.
Megan also loved art and could spend hours in an art museum. She frequently expressed her creativity through pottery and other art forms. She enjoyed going shopping and loved perusing the farmers market for fresh produce, flowers, and local wares.
Megan traveled throughout her life and lived in Michigan, Nebraska, and Florida at various points. She enjoyed sightseeing, walking on the beach, and especially cherished vacations to Florida and Hawaii.
