Jean was born in Coleridge, NE on Feb. 13, 1923, and retired after a successful career in retail, from JC Penney in Bellevue, NE. She was a strong, talented, independent woman, who was also a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her family, neighbors, and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Anton “Tony” Minarik, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Survivors include 1 sister, Oma Jacobson of Hartington, NE; 2 daughters, Denise Sellers and husband David of Fernandina Beach, FL, and Donna Krupko of Urbandale, IA; grandchildren, Karli Sellers of Jacksonville Beach, FL, Paul Krupko of Urbandale, IA, Jillian Krupko of Chicago, IL, Jonathan Krupko of Portland, OR, Charles Brown of St. Johns, FL; and 2 great-grandchildren, Parker and Aubrey Brown of St. Johns, FL, and extended family, Ned Krupko of Urbandale, IA.
