Phyllis A. Robinson

Phyllis Arlene Robinson was born June 5, 1961 in Omaha, NE to mother Shirley A. Coleman and father Virl Robinson. She graduated from Tech High School in Omaha. After graduation she became an administrative assistant at the University of Nebraska of Omaha for over 20 years.

Phyllis was a loving, caring, and very helpful woman who would go out of her way for anyone. She was devoted to her son Lamar Robinson, grandson Deon Robinson, and her 3 beautiful great grandchildren. Phyllis loved spending time with her family especially her great grandchildren who brought so much joy to her. She was considered a "social butterfly" which allowed her to make many wonderful and dear friends through the years. Many considered her to be the life of the party!

In her spare time she enjoyed visiting Art Museums and reading books by the lake. Though her favorite pastime was rooting on her beloved Los Angeles Lakers to which she was their #1 fan!!! She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Shirley and Virl. Survived by her son Lamar Robinson; grandson Deon Robinson; three great grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers; and many more family and friends.

A visitation for Phyllis will be held Friday, June 10, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Westlawn/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St, Omaha, Nebraska 68106, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM.
