Ruth Jensen was a kind and loving woman. She lived a long and exciting life. Ruth grew up in rural Crawford County Iowa. She graduated from Dow City High School in 1949. While attending Dow City High School, Ruth won a typing award. After graduation Ruth attended business school and worked various jobs. Ruth was living life happily when she met a man who would make it an even happier life with many adventures. She met Dick through Dick's brother. They fell in love and eventually got married. Over the years Ruth has had many hobbies. Some of her favorite times were spent painting ceramics, going fishing, and even going bowling.
Ruth is preceded in death by husband Richard J (Dick) Jensen; parents, Scott and Carrie Fouts; and siblings, Don, Paul, Margaret, and Jerry.
Ruth is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Ruth will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, 5701 Center Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68106.
