I am so sorry for your loss.  Bill and I spoke and emailed many times between Release Ministries and Straight Ahead Ministries.  He was always kind, patient and genuine; a joyful brother in Christ.  Thanks for the photos - they say a lot.  Praying for you all.  Thanks, be.

I will Hugely miss Bill.  It had been a while since we golfed or played ping-pong but our paths continued to cross as we serve those involved with Release Ministies. I know our Lord will comfort LInda and family at this time and always for He is faithful and true.

I LOVE Bill Ellett! We shared many times the burden and blessing of starting a non-profit. We ran parallel paths in our ministries in terms of time-line, kids served, similarity of mission. My prayers go out to your family. Bill was such a blessing and encouragement. He left a huge legacy for Jesus's glory. Blessings to your family! Ty Schenzel

I liked Bill from the start. As a consultant for Release Ministries, he treated me with respect, friendship and grace. It was an honor to serve his vision for the organization. I pray for all most close to him during this time.

Dear Linda, I don't know where to begin, I'm sadden from the depth of my heart my beloved friend Bill is home with the Lord. Bill loved you, and you love Him very much, but the good LORD love him more. Our prayers are with you and the family.

I never met Bill but I had the opportunity several years ago to tour Release Ministries with my teen son. What a blessing that Bill lived out his faith, helping young kids in trouble to have an opportunity to see life from a different perspective--possibly to help them make different choices once they are released from detention. And what an impact that opportunity made on my son, who was choosing to run with a troubled crowd in high school. He told me the tour didn't affect him nearly so much as when we were told the tighty-whiteys a kid wears today were worn by someone else before they were washed...life at its basic necessities, nothing more. Now he's in the Army, Infantry Airborne. No one else wears his undies! See you on the other side!

The fleeting times that we spent with Bill, and the many stories we heard of Bill were always enjoyable and enduring.

What a privilege it was to know Bill as a volunteer with Release Ministries. Every time I saw or spoke with him, the deepest impression I left with was the love he had for those he was called to serve. I was blessed to be called to be a fellow laborer in his vision for three years. I know Bill is now receiving his reward from his Savior, seeing the harvest of souls because he answered the call to love them like Jesus and I'm confident he will be waiting with open arms to welcome those who will join him in heaven one day because the work continues. My deepest sympathy to your family as I am trusting the Holy Spirit to comfort the hearts of all those whose lives were touched by this humble servant for the kingdom of God.

Dear Linda - I will keep you in my prayers and pray that you only remember the good things.  I know how much you loved Bill.  I envied you at times as you were always so confident of your trust in him.

I will forever be thankful for you! You gave me a opportunity at joining Release back in 2010. From this inception, I still continue ministry in North Omaha today. You have opened doors in my life and it was just simply by your love, character and friendship. Thank you for being an amazing mentor in my life.
