Beatrice Holmes

Born in Oneonta, NY, on June 29, 1925, she was the beloved daughter of Irma and Ore Sullivan.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her devoted husband, AMarian Edward Holmes; her cherished daughters, Marion Stephens and Trudy Dean; and her sons-in-laws, Jimmy Herring and Sonny Stephens.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her daughters, Patricia Crosby (Lyman Sr.), Bonnie Herring, Carol Ackley, and Betty Williams, and a son-in-law, Orville Dean as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren.

Throughout her long and fulfilling life, Beatrice found joy in the simple pleasures—sewing, gardening, dancing, and bowling, each bringing her happiness and connection with others.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Beatrice’s honor may be made to Mercy House, 212 N McKinley Ave, Endicott, NY, 13760.
