Charlotte W. Grant

Charlotte was born on April 26, 1932 in Oneonta to Kenneth and Florence (White) Wing. She graduated from Oneonta High School. She married Hubert E. Grant of Oneonta on September 3, 1955.

Charlotte worked for many years as secretary for the Atonement Lutheran Church.

Charlotte loved music, especially jazz. She played piano, violin, and the organ at her church when she was younger. Pinochle with the family was the favorite card game. And most of all, she loved her family.

She was pre-deceased by too many family members - her parents: Ken and Florence Wing; her siblings: Mildred Martin, Herbert Wing, Myrtle Nelson; her husband, Hubie (1965), her son, Eric (1992), a grandson, Robert Monser (2003), and a great-grandson, Damien Boecke-Grant (2021).

She is survived by her children: Karen Grant, Karla (Peter) Monser, Victor Grant and Donna (Henry) Lee.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren: John (Lindsay) and Katherine (Isaac); Charlotte; Erica, Erin, Eric, Kerri, and their siblings - Summer and Mike. There were also many great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and just as many who called her "Grandma". She loved and cared for them all. Her door was always open to everyone.

Calling hours will be Friday, November 5, 2021, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at Bookhout Funeral Home in Oneonta, New York.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the Atonement Lutheran Church, in Oneonta.

She wished to send a special thanks to Helios Care for their caring support.
