Colmin J. Gajadar

She was born on September 30, 1951 to Dorothy Daley and Keith Dennis in the parish of Westmoreland in Jamaica.

Colmin married Lewis Gajadar on July 13, 1985 in Kingston, Jamaica. Soon after the birth of their daughter, they moved to the United States where Colmin worked at Hartwick College for 35 years in the IT Department.

She loved reading, planting flowers, and feeding her friends with her many and varied delicious creations.

Colmin was a member of the congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Oneonta.

She is survived by her daughter, Jodi Gajadar of Nassau; five brothers and two sisters; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 4, 2023, at the Oneonta Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3985 State Highway 23, West Oneonta.

Arrangements are by the Bookhout Funeral Home, Oneonta.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah's Witnesses.
