David Talbot

He was born in Port Jervis New York to Frye Talbot and Johanna Reganess Talbot August 28th, 1954.

He married Renata Sheldon January 15th 1987 in Otego New York.

Dave was a role model, friend, brother, and most importantly a wonderful father and husband. That’s just the tip of all the amazing roles he carried out through his life. His heart of gold had him worrying about the people and pets in his life over himself until the end. He was a very private man, if you didn’t know him, he didn’t want the spotlight on him, however, people who met him naturally gravitated to him because he was just that special. He was the go-to man for fixing problems, it didn’t matter the topic. He was the perfect example of how to put in a hard day’s work and not complain. And that is exactly what he did, building his own little paradise where he spent his time with the ones he loved. Those who knew him will miss him forever, but can hold tight and cherish all the memories made.

He is survived by his wife and children along with his siblings, Leona (Ken), Tom (Margaret) , Leah (Ray), Linda, Laura (Dirk), Sharon, Jim, Wendy(Ben) and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts , uncles, and cousins and in-law’s Betty (Jeff), David, and Kenneth.

He was predeceased by his parents, 2 brothers, and his mother and father in-law.

Funeral Services will be private with burial in the Otego Evergreen Cemetery.
