Elizabeth Pauline Kump

She was born January 15, 1919 in Rahway, NJ, the daughter of Matthew and Louise (Matzelle) Kump.

She was employed 30 years as a telephone operator for AT&T in NYC. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and of The Third Order of the Society of St. Francis.

Elizabeth is survived by a sister and brother in law, Madeline and George Seger of Oneonta; nieces and nephews, Virginia and Phil Fireci, George and Anne Seger, Christopher Seger, Nancy Seger, Claire and Jim O’Connor; and Mary Lou and Maryellen Seger; and many great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sisters and brothers, Louise, Mary, George and Albert; as well as a niece Madlyn.

A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at 2:30 pm at St. Mary's Church, 39 Walnut Street, Oneonta, with Rev. David Mickiewicz, officiating. Friends are invited to greet the family beginning at 1 pm on Tuesday, at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, 14 Grand St, Oneonta.

Burial will take place at a later date in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.

In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the St. Mary’s Church Food Pantry.
