Francis “Fran” L. Weeks, 74, formerly of Oneonta, passed away on Saturday May 17, 2014 at the Otsego Manor following a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his family.
Fran was born in Cooperstown on March 25, 1940, the son of Edwin and Edna (Herrick) Weeks along with his two brothers Edwin and Robert Weeks. He was married to Nancy (Heck) Weeks, who predeceased him in 1991.
Fran served in the US Air Force but spent the majority of his working years delivering packages for the UPS in the Delhi area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Francis is survived by three children: Gabrielle Settle, Alexandra Weeks, and Curtis Weeks, as well as four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be at the Hartwick Seminary Cemetery.
