Hannelore Yager

She was born July 23, 1948 in Duisburg, West Germany the daughter of the late Erich and Hildegard (Schact) Ernst.

On December 19, 1970, Hanna married Ronald Yager at the Lutheran Church in Laurens.

She worked at SUNY Oneonta in Student Accounts from 1968 until she fully retired in 2000 to remain at home helping to care for her parents and her grandchildren.

She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who always enjoyed caring for her family and her parents in their later years.

She was a member of the Otego Methodist Church.

Hannelore is survived by her husband, Ronald Yager; three children, Amy and Jeff Gardner, Michael Yager and girlfriend, Julie and Cory and Kristen Yager; eight grandchildren, Amethyst, Tiffany and Brandon Gardner, Owen, Camden and Grace Yager and Taylor and Hailey Yager; two brothers, Dan Ernst and partner, Randy Bitters and Herbert and Nancy Ernst; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Renate G. Frailey.
