She was born September 29, 1927 in Oneonta the daughter of the late George and Margretha (Hitchcock) Quackenbush.
One of Isabelle’s greatest achievements was earning her high school diploma from Oneonta High School.
On February 7, 1948, Isabelle married Clifford Judson in Oneonta. He predeceased her on March 14, 1985.
From 1950 to 1987, Isabelle worked at the Oneonta Dress Company and then when it became Sanyo Sewing American as a sewing machine operator until her retirement.
In her younger years she loved 4-H, singing and dancing and was very proud of all her bible awards that she received from the West Davenport Baptist Church for reciting bible verses.
In her later years she always helped her neighbors by getting them groceries, taking them to doctors appointments or sometimes taking them to work if they needed a ride. She enjoyed going out to lunch with the old gals from work. While in her 80’s, Isabelle helped babysit her 2 great grandsons, Warren and Jamie.
If you wanted to make her happy, buy her a Whopper, Jr. She was a very tough and tenacious survivor.
Isabelle is survived by her five children, William C. Judson, James Judson, Susan Quigley, Shirley Judson and Cynthia Judson; two grandsons, Christopher W. (Misty) Quiqley and Richard J. Quigley; 6 great grandchildren, Phelecia, Victoria, Rebecca, Kayla Rose, Warren and Jamison Quigley; 9 great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. God bless Misty Quigley for all her care during her stay and a special thank you to Donna and Steve Banks and Mary Scheer for spending time and caring for her in her last days. She was predeceased by her siblings, George Quackenbush, Robert Quackenbush, Mildred Sullivan and Helena VanDuesen.
