Margaret V. Minarcin

She was born February 13, 1933, in Franklin, the daughter of the late Theodore and Margaret (Wallette) Mastis. She married John R. Minarcin on October 12, 1952. He passed away on June 23, 2009.

Margaret was a member of St. Mary’s Church and was a teacher’s assistant for 15 years at the Oneonta Consolidated School District.

Her life interests were sports, especially the Yankees and Giants. However, her primary love in life was caring for her husband, John, her children and her grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Linda Molinari, and her husband, Kevin, of Matthews, North Carolina; her four grandchildren, Meghan Molinari, Michael (Meghan) Molinari, John (Jackie) Minarcin and Donald (Melissa) Minarcin; two great grandsons, John Minarcin, Jr, and Dominic Minarcin and her daughter-in-law, Jan Minarcin.

She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and her son, John Minarcin in 1995.

At Margaret’s request, there will be no calling hours. A private service for the family will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
