He was born November 18, 1970 in Saratoga Springs the son of Donald and Sandra (Hadsell) Hill.
He enjoyed traveling and being in the outdoors. He also had a love for animals and writing and singing. Matthew was a loving father and will be deeply missed by his friends and family.
Matthew is survived by his three children, Rebecca (Hill) (Matthew) Murphy, Matthew P. Hill, Jr. and Mikala Hill; four siblings, Deborah Dulaney, Donald Hill, Lori Kelly and Brian Hill; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at 3:00PM.
Memorial donations may be made to the Susquehanna SPCA, 4841 State Highway 28, 2016 in memory of Matthew P. Hill, Sr.
