Ottillie K. Ferrara

She was the daughter of the late Jakob A. Muehl and Katherine Schmall Muehl

Ottillie grew up in Worcester, attended Mildred Elley, and worked for NYSEG in Oneonta, retiring after twenty five years.

She liked travelling, movies, animals and country music. She played golf and enjoyed watching sports events, especially her “beloved Bo Sox”. She walked daily in Wilbur Park and other areas. She was a parishioner at St Mary’s.

Predeceased by husband, Joseph A. Ferrara; siblings: Martin Muehl, Mary Naples, Catherine Clark, Jakob G. Muehl, Michael Muehl, Anton Muehl, Rosalie Ryan.

She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Michaud of Cortland, NY and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, 14 Grand Street in Oneonta.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 8, 2016 at 10:15 am in St. Mary’s Church, 39 Walnut Street, Oneonta with Rev. David Mickiewicz, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St Mary's Building Fund, 39 Walnut Street, Oneonta 13820 or the Susquehanna SPCA, 4841 State Hwy 28, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
