Bobby was a kind person.  He always seemed to be smiling and was a fun person to be around.  Condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

To all of Bobs family members.  Bob was always a wonderful and kind person to speak with whenever I saw him and no matter where I saw him.   He always had a smile which was great.  He never seemed to be angry at anything.   Glad to know he was working for ARC I think that he loved it as he told me he did.  He is no longer suffering with his illness and is now with his parents.

I first met Bob when we would go the Palace Cigar Store to get our Sunday NY Times.  He was always friendly and engaging.  I was very pleased when he came to work for The Arc Otsego.   He enriched the lives of all the men he worked with as well as all of us who knew him.   May he rest in peace.

Just was informed of Bob's death this evening by one of his ARC "boys." Like many, first met Bob at Palace Cigar, but really didn't get to know him until he started working at ARC.  While outside working in the yard, I would look forward to having a conversation with him as he walked to work. From the very first conversation with him, we were good friends!  One doesn't have many real good friends, and I considered him one of mine. I consider myself honored to know him, and surely his positive attitude and smile will surely be missed.

Rest in peace, Bob.

There will be very few people you meet in your lifetime that will be the person Bobby House was. He was loved by all and touched the lives of anyone who needed a friend. I've never known anybody EVER who you had to wait in line to talk to but you weren't leaving until you did! He was always fun, witty, sarcastic, complimentary and joyful....especially joyful. Bobby taught me to shoot pool and he was the best around. Back in the 90's I looked forward to nights out with Bob where 50 cents would get us 3-4 hrs on the table because nobody could beat us and we would win all night long.
I believe it was Bobs spirit and his genuine character that drew everyone to him. He was the definition of the word friend and I know that he came into his element to use his wonderful "gifts" when he started working at ARC. Bobby I love you! R.I.P.

Dear House Family and friends, 
Bob was one of the nicest people I've ever met, and it was an honor to be his friend. I' m so saddened by this news. I remember when we first met, it was as if we'd known each other for ever and we became instant friends. Although we had lost contact in recent years, I will always remember the laughs we had together, and also the bad times we shared. I can hear him saying "hi honey" to me even as I write this. He was always in a good mood, and I never saw him angry. Please take comfort in knowing how much he loved you, as he told me many times. 
RIP Bob, you were a great friend.
