Stanley Lee Eldred

Stanley Eldred, 82, of Wells Bridge, NY passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford, NY, a resident of 1 year. He was born October 16, 1933 in Laurens, NY the son of the late Walter Eldred and Dorothy Rossman. He was married to Elaine Loucks on July 21, 2001. Stanley spent 7 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Crew Chief for the B-52 bomber where he was stationed at Castle AFB California and later owned Stan’s Garage on Gilbert Street in Oneonta. He is survived by his wife, Elaine of 15 years, daughter, Sandra (Juan) Vaquerizo and twin grandchildren, Katherine and Alex of Orlando, FL, step sons, Glen (Lisa) Loucks of Schenevus, Randy (Tracy) Loucks of Jefferson, sister, Genevieve Grant of Fayetteville, PA, brother, Walter (Diane) Eldred of Denver, CO, brother, Ken Eldred of Oneonta, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Steve Grant. Stan enjoyed round and square dancing with his wife and playing cards with friends.
