Anne Bouwman was born in Gees, Netherlands on December 23, 1942 and went home to be with our Lord on March 16, 2026 in Chino CA. She was 83 years old, one of nine children born to William (Bill), Egbertje and Tjettje Bouwman
Anne and of her brothers and sisters were born in Holland and moved to the United States as a young girl. Her mother Egbertje passed away shortly after making the move. William (Bill) Bouwman married Tjettje Sipma and together they had three children.
Anne married Roy Siegersma in 1963 and they had three children, Jason, Jeanne and Darren. A lot of special time was spent with family on Sundays after church, holidays and other celebrations. Aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends enjoyed the Dutch foods and traditions.
She loved to travel and share stories about her bicycle trips with friends from Ontario Christian School. They traveled the United States and Europe and she carried those memories for a lifetime.
Anne was a career school bus driver for Ontario Christian Schools and it brought her a lot of happiness later in life when “bumping into” or hearing from former students that rode her bus. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and was particularly proud that she owned a Harley.
Family meant everything and every great grandchild, grandchild, brother, sister, niece and nephew had a place in her heart. Thank you to her Facebook friends. She enjoyed hearing from you and staying in touch.
Roy and Anne were married for 45 years when he went home to our Lord in 2008. They enjoyed family gatherings, time with children and grandchildren as well as several years together as an over the road team for North American Van Lines
Holland and family remained close to heart. She loved to tell stories of their time and visits to her hometown and other adventures in Europe.
In 2022 she moved back to Inland Christian Home and was happy to be back near Ontario Christian schools and old friends.
Anne passed away peacefully at Chino Valley Hospital on Mar 16, 2026.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to prayerfully consider a gift to Inland Christian Home, Ontario CA
